Weekend Watch 4/14-4/15
What I’m watching this weekend: Front Page Woman (1937)- 1 hr 22 mins
Hello everyone,
I just got back from a lengthy road trip, meaning a long time without classic movies! So this weekend, I am planning on watching some old and fun favorites. This usually means one thing: Rom-Coms!
Front Page Woman is a more recent watch and has become a new favorite of mine. There's great chemistry between the eleven time screen team: Bette Davis and George Brent, who know how to throw a quick line and makeup up not long afterward.They star as Ellen Garfield and Curt Devlin, rival reporters, but that doesn't stop Devlin from proposing. The only problem is that Ellen wants Devlin's recognition of being as good, if not a better reporter, than him and any other average newspaperman! Sparks fly between the two and only getting the scoop on the latest murder trial will settle the matter.
