Weekend Watch 7/20-7/21
What I’m watching this weekend: Bringing Up Baby (1938)- 1 hr 42 mins
You may have already read about this film here at Bing’s Basement. It's a rom-com classic which initially bombed at the box office. The film’s director, Howard Hawks, attributed it to the fact that the cast of characters were all just too crazy! Over the years, this is largely the reason so many have come to love this film. I know I do, and I always look forward to revisiting it. The comedy is situational, physical, verbal, and ultimately rooted in the film’s scatterbrained cast of characters!
