What I’m watching this weekend: My Man Godfrey (1936)- 1 hr 36 mins
My Man Godfrey is one of my all time favorites. It's screwball comedy at its finest and it has a wonderful cast to match, including Carole Lombard and William Powell, who had divorced a few years prior to making this film. Lombard stars as the flighty and scatterbrained New York socialite Irene Bullock, who hires a street bum named Godfrey (William Powell) to be her crazy family's butler. But she and her family get more than they bargained for. Enjoy!
