Weekend Watch 5/26-5/27
What I’m watching this weekend: The Clock (1945)- 1 hr 30 mins
In this wonderful war time romance, Corporal Joe Allen (Robert Walker) is on a 48 hour leave. When he arrives in Pennsylvania station he meets New York local Alice Mayberry. She spends his leave with him by showing him the sights, and the two fall in love, but there is only a few hours left before Joe goes back to the front. If your looking for a tender romance film, The Clock is a great choice. The film touchingly deals with the reality of war time and a hopeful ending.
