Only Angels Have Wings (1939)- 2 hrs 1 min
When performer Bonnie Lee (Jean Arthur) stops off in a small South American trading post, she comes in contact with Geoff (Cary Grant), a manger of a freight airline that can't afford to miss any of its flights. With the dangers that come to the airline with the terrain and weather, and her falling for the daredevil manager Geoff, Bonnie may be in for more than she bargained for at her stop.
Only Angels Have Wings combines a wonderful mix of lighthearted and serious moments, as the pilots of the south American airline face the reality of death each day.

Now, Voyager (1942)- 1 hr 58 mins
In this classic, soapy romance Bette Davis plays Boston heiress Charlotte Vale, a depressed spinster whose whole life has been controlled by her overbearing mother (Gladys Cooper). However, when she receives treatment from Dr. Jasquith (Claude Rains) Charlotte finds healing. After her treatment is over, Dr. Jasquith sends her on a cruise where she meets a married man named Jerry (Paul Henreid). They fall in love and know that they must break it off, but how can they when they can't forget each other?
The cast of Now, Voyager all give amazing performances supported by an Oscar winning score. In fact, two of the cast members, including Bette Davis, were nominated for an Oscar. It is also hard to forget the memorable cigarette scene that made movie history.

Woman of the Year (1942)- 1 hr 54 mins
There is no question, Woman of the Year is one of my all time favorites. Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn, two of the kings and queens of Hollywood star as rival reporters. Tracy plays sport reporter Sam Craig and Hepburn stars as political journalist Tess Harding. When they finally meet, sparks fly and they are soon married. However, as Tess continues to put her career first their marriage is put at risk.
Tracy and Hepburn are at their absolute best, as they portray a genuine depiction of the struggles of marriage. The film combines a great mixture of laughs and vulnerable moments that make this film a classic.
