What I’m watching this weekend: Two Smart People (1946)- 1 hr 33 mins

This weekend I will be watching a brand new film for me: Two Smart People (1946). Starring I Love Lucy’s Lucille Ball and actor John Hodiak, the film is a story of a con-man, Ace (Hodiak), and a con-woman, Ricki (Ball). After both ruin each other’s prospective scams, the two entangle themselves in each other’s lives while detective Bob Simms (Lloyd Nolan) tries to uncover Ace’s bond racket. A mixture of romance, comedy, and crime, Two Smart People is a likely gem! I’ve started it, and I can’t wait to finish it this weekend!
