I feel as though I’ve been watching The Adventures of Robin Hood ever since I was born, and yet it continues to entertain me! The film includes the classic Robin Hood storyline along with a fantastic who’s who roster of character actors as well as a memorable score by the talented Erich Wolfgang Korngold. The famous Australian-born actor Errol Flynn, at his absolute athletic best, leads as the invincible Robin of Sherwood. He can be seen swinging from trees, breaking out of a castle single-handedly, winning the hand of maid Marian (his frequent co-star Olivia de Havilland), and engaging in multiple fights for the sake of England and the rightful King, Richard the Lionheart. I am certain that after you watch this this film, The Adventures of Robin Hood will become one of your favorites, as it is mine.
