Here in her last film before coming Princess Grace of Monaco, Grace Kelly stars as Newport socialite Tracy Samantha Lord in this musical adaptation of The Philadelphia Story (1940).

Recently divorced from fellow socialite and neighbor C.K. Dexter Haven (Bing Crosby), Tracy Lord is now planning to marry the wealthy, self-made George Kittredge (John Lund). However, when Dexter returns, and with two reporters (Frank Sinatra and Celeste Holm) to cover the wedding, Tracy's feelings becoming unclear as she discovers who she really is amidst an array of musical numbers by Cole Porter and the backdrop of the Newport Jazz Festival.
