Weekend Watch 11/17-11/18
What Iām watching this weekend: Forsaking All Others (1934)- 1 hr 23 mins
A dynamic screen duo, Clark Gable and Joan Crawford made a total of 8 films together. One of them is Forsaking All Others (1934). I have been making my way through all of their films, and this weekend, Forsaking All Others is what I plan to watch. The film tells the story of three childhood friends- Mary (Joan Crawford), Jeff (Clark Gable), and Dill (Robert Montgomery). When Jeff returns home from Spain to confess his love for Mary, he finds her celebrating her engagement to Dill. However, when Dill leaves Mary at the altar, Jeff just might have his chance. Tell me what you think of the film in the comments!
