The Philadelphia Story (1940)

Blossoms in the Dust (1941)

Footlight Parade (1942)* **

Panama Hattie (1942)- Not a great film, but it has a lovely roster of talent!

The Ox-Bow Incident (1943)

Magnificent Obsession (1954)

The Tender Trap (1955)

Love Me or Leave Me (1955)

Written on the Wind (1956)

The Pajama Game (1957)

Funny Face (1957)

The Best of Everything (1959)- I am tempted to put this into the “Would Not Recommend” category because of the combination of realism and ridiculous melodramatic plot, but it is worth seeing for the time capsule of the late ‘50’s and certain great performances.

Please Don’t Eat the Daisies (1960)

That Darn Cat (1965)

Would Not Recommend

Let’s Make It Legal (1951)- Boring and ridiculous. A bit of a waste of a rich cast and potentially good script. An early Marilyn Monroe film.

* Please be aware that one scene includes an offensive racial depiction. This is in no way an endorsement of that.

** Please be aware that this film has people scantily dressed.
